About the
Global Health Catalyst SummiT/Workshop in Tanzania
The Global Health Catalyst Summit Tanzania has been funded by the University of Pennsylvania Global Education Fund to advance global health (PI. Stephen Avery).
The long-term goal is to develop a USA/Africa Radiation Oncology Core (ROC), with both practical (PROC) and virtual (IROC) components, dedicated to Research Education/training in Radiation oncology. The ROC will serve as a regional center of excellence in Africa to significantly increase access to quality cancer care, research and education, reducing global health disparities in radiation oncology.

Faculty Partners for this workshop come from: UPENN, Harvard, University of Heidelberg, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Science, Ocean Road Cancer Institute, the Federation of African Medical Physicists, AORTIC, amongst others.
